Tiny House Nation
April 20, 2015
If you are an avid fan of the show, you’ll know that our multifunctional furniture has been in a number of episodes of Tiny House Nation on FYI. The aptly named show is a celebration of the tiny house movement across America led by hosts John Weisbarth and Zack Giffin. John and Zack travel across America to show off ingenious small spaces (and the resourceful people who live in them!) while helping families looking to make the choice to “edit” their lives construct their tiny houses — all in less than 500 square feet.
Today we’re looking back at the highlights from the show, and looking forward to future intelligently designed spaces! Don’t miss the next episode, tonight at 9 p.m. on FYI.
First stop, Rochester! Tim and Shannon want to simplify their lives, travel and pay off student loans. Their hobbies — he likes to brew beer and she likes to excersise — have been taking up a lot of space. Can they make it work in a 210 sq. foot tiny house? View the full episode here.
Next stop, Colorado! A couple built a 500 sq. foot Tiny House after their old home was destroyed by a wildfire. They’re downsizing their mountain top retreat, but they have an extra challenge: they both work from home. Can John and Zack find a way to fit two offices plus room for entertaining? View the full episode here.
Next up, Hacienda Heights, CA! In the next episode, which airs Monday at 9 p.m. on FYI, Phillise and her toddler boys want a tiny eco-friendly house. They are committed to living off grid and the 340 square foot solar powered studio is passively designed to take advantage of the California sun. Don’t miss it!
