About the Product You Are Looking For
As of June 1, all furniture which contains any portion that is made of composite wood products that is sold in the U.S. is required to meet new EPA requirements under the Formaldehyde Standards for Composite Wood Products Act (TSCA Title VI.)
Because our products are all made in Europe, they have always met or exceeded almost all current U.S. safety and environmental standards. However, this new U.S. regulation (TSCA Title VI) requires a different test and certification process than is standard in Europe, and a few of our European manufacturers are still working towards completing the certification process. We expect that all of our manufacturers will be compliant very soon, but until then, we cannot offer this product for sale.
At Resource Furniture, we're not only committed to offering the finest selection of furniture available, we are also committed to providing the highest quality products available, and we will only sell products made from sustainably sourced materials that are compliant with all safety and environmental regulations.
