Business of Home’s celebrated design industry conference may have looked a bit different this year — but the takeaways were more poignant than ever.
While design enthusiasts could not gather in person this year, the 2020 Future of Home conference was as inspiring and thought-provoking as ever. The two-day long conference was transformed to a streaming show, bringing together some of the foremost disrupters and thought leaders in the world of design to discuss the unique challenges and opportunities facing the industry today.
Through a series of in-depth, live-streamed discussions, live interactive chats, and a series of post-event workshops, the community came together to examine how we can shape the future of home, and why now is the golden age of home.
“In a world that already feels upended,” writes BOH, “our speakers offered a bracing look at just how much industry disruption is still to come — and unpacked the opportunities those forces of change present for all of us.”
Among those forces of change are the increasing demands on domestic spaces. As the world continues to tread this ever-shifting “new normal,” Resource VP Challie Stillman sat down with Business of Home’s Dennis Scully to address the question: how can people make more of the space they already have?
In keeping with our mission to support innovation in housing and design, Resource Furniture was a proud sponsor of the 2020 Future of Home conference.
