YDC Design used our transforming furniture to maximize the space for two different projects in New York City.
This penthouse is home to a family of five, including three young children. There were two main objectives that went into the design of this home: create a comfortable, carefree living space while also providing accommodations that could play host to a constant turnstile of guests.
YDC Design is the mastermind behind the design of this penthouse which features four large bedrooms and discreetly offers expandable sleeping arrangements for six with the help of the Kali wall bed in the living room.
After designing the kids’ room and master bedroom, YDC Design discreetly disguised additional sleeping space with the LGM wall bed in the home office. Now that room is an ideal spot when the owners work from home – and they can still offer a comfortable space when family and friends come to visit! Kelly and Jake and their two kids (and kitty!) live in a two-bedroom, 604-square-foot apartment.
The owners of this pool house wanted their home to feel welcoming without the stress of protecting anything precious or worrying about spills.
