Inside Matt Sorum’s Palm Springs Paradise

Resource was honored to work with Matt Sorum, his wife and designer Ace Harper, and designer Ryan Saghian to furnish the nursery and backyard for his desert family home. Inspired by the 60s, their home pulls from their personal tastes and seamlessly blends together to create a uniquely eclectic style.

 

  

“It wasn’t hard to design this room -- it was hard to incorporate a bed into the room,” said Saghian. We solved this solution with our Penelope Wall Bed, accompanied by custom shelving to create a built-in look for the room.

With the help of our Flex Outdoor sofas, we created the ultimate lounging experience in his backyard. The modular design allowed us to create a large outdoor sofa perfect for their outdoor movie nights next to the firepit, and we used smaller pieces to create daybeds around the pool. 

Unlike typical outdoor sofas, the flex outdoor performance fabrics make the sofa feel like a luxurious indoor sofa, all while being water-resistant and weatherproof.
