3 Palms Project

Resource Furniture is a proud sponsor of 3 Palms Project, a cutting-edge, net-zero energy home, also featured in Dwell magazine. 3 Palms’ owner, award-winning actor Bryan Cranston, received dual certifications under the Passive House and LEED for Homes standards.

The 2,450 square-foot, 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath home is powered by 100% passive solar energy and wind power. It features radiant heating, super insulation, and recycled, renewable and space-efficient products throughout the home. The home gym/guest room was furnished with Nuovoliola wall bed and complimentary shelving/media system designed and made in Italy by Clei.

The cozy TV room was furnished with the Add Look sofa and Passo transforming coffee-to-dining table.

Function + Style

Bryan Cranston told Dwell: “If you like putting puzzles together, building a house is just that. I like the act of translating the two-dimensional into three-dimensional, looking at floor plans and imagining walking into a room and what I’m going to see, what I’m going to feel.

I love architecture, it’s a rich artistic history and it strikes me, it moves me, there’s a message to it. In my business, it’s about storytelling, and I think there’s storytelling in architecture. It’s all about having function and style working together.”

We couldn’t agree more, Bryan!
